We're Zeke and Glynda Brinsfield, and if your family calendar looks anything like ours used to, we understand.
Between our children's soccer practices and piano recitals, our careers in healthcare and technology, the nonprofit we founded, coaching youth athletics, staying active in our community and faith - we were drowning in calendars. Google Calendar here, school portal there, team apps everywhere. Important things slipped through the cracks. We missed the chaos of our full lives, not because we weren't organized, but because no single tool could hold it all together.
So we built one.
HomeCalendar started as our family's solution. A way to finally see everything in one place - every practice, every meeting, every birthday party invitation. When we showed it to other parents at the ballfield and in our community, they said the same thing: "We need this."
That's when WeBetterMove.com was born.
We Lived the Problem
Our lives span a lot of territory:
We're parents of children in sports and music - which means our weeks are measured in practices, games, lessons, and performances.
We're professionals with careers in healthcare, technology, real estate, and business ownership - each with its own demands and schedules.
We're founders of a ministry helping men and women recover from life-controlling circumstances - work that matters deeply and requires showing up.
We're neighbors who coach youth athletics, engage in local civic life, and stay rooted in our faith community.
We weren't looking for a simple calendar. We needed something that could hold the fullness of an active family's life.
When we couldn't find it, we built it.
